AMBASSADOR JENNIFER BRUSH JOINS THE CIG BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Council for Inclusive Governance is pleased to announce the election of Jennifer L. Brush to CIG’s Board of Directors. Ambassador Brush is a decorated diplomat with decades of international experience in developing, implementing, and leading initiatives, anticipating evolution, and implementing change. She has significantly contributed to the growth, expansion, and elevation of international missions, programs, services, and initiatives. She started her diplomatic career at the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade in 1987. After that she served in U.S. missions in Warsaw, Ankara, Sarajevo, Vienna, was a deputy chief of mission in Marshall Islands, Turkmenistan, and in Serbia. In 2010-2012, Ambassador Brush was the Director of the Office of South Central Europe at the U. S. Department of State. In 2012-2014, Ambassador Brush served as the Head of the OSCE Mission in Moldova, and in 2014-2015, was the U.N. Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General in Kosovo. She is conversant in seven languages. Ambassador Brush graduated with a B.A. from Tulane University, received her M.A. from the University of Washington, and an M.P.A. from Princeton University. She lives in Solon, Ohio. We are pleased to have Jennifer Brush on board and look forward to her guidance as CIG continues its work on promoting inclusive governance and improving interstate and interethnic relations.
