BELGRADE AND PRISTINA: WHEN EMOTIONS PREVAIL OVER DIALOGUE

At the Sixth Belgrade Security Forum (BSF), the Council for Inclusive Governance in cooperation with BSF organized its fifth annual panel discussion dedicated to Kosovo-related issues. In an overly packed Chrystal ballroom of the Hyatt hotel in Belgrade the panel addressed the current impasse in the dialogue and proposed ways forward out of the present crisis. Panel participants included Gordana Comic‚ Deputy Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, Pierre Mirel, Honorary Director General of the European Commission, Tanja Miscevic, Head of the Negotiating Team for the Accession to the European Union of the Government of Serbia‚ and Naim Rashiti, Executive Director of the Balkans Group. CIG President Alex Roinishvili Grigorev moderated the discussions. A short report from the panel is available on the BSF website.
